Turbary Woods, Birds of Prey







These beautiful birds of prey can be found at Turbary Woods Bird of Prey sanctuary near Preston. It's well worth a visit for kids and grown-ups alike. If you go around lunch time, they tend to fly the birds and you get the chance to see them close-up. They have a mix of Owls, Hawks, Falcons and a few strange additions to their collection. They are all rescue birds and they rely on visitors and donations to keep them going. You will learn an awful lot about these magnificent birds from the people who handle them.
